All Uwharrie Chair products are made to order. Therefore, returns due to buyer's remorse are not accepted. If the product arrives damaged or is damaged in transit, we will gladly replace the item. We will bear the cost of shipping the item back to us for replacement.

The wood used in Uwharrie Chair products is warranted for life (30 years for commercial) against termites and decay when used in normal environmental conditions. The stainless steel hardware is also warranted for life against corrosion dues to exposure to normal environmental conditions.

The original consumer in entitled to receive new wood replacement parts for damage to rot or termites. The original consumer is also entitled to replacement hardware if any screws or bolts experience corrosion under normal environmental conditions.

Keep in mind, pressure treated southern yellow pine was developed for all-season outdoor use and is designed to resist insect infestation and rot even with ground contact. It should be understood by the end user that it is natural and expected for Uwharrie products to crack, weather check, lose some finish treatment and warp slightly. These factors alone do not constitute a reason to reject the product, because they rarely compromise the structural integrity of the furniture.
